El Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles (AIFA) is an emblem of the modernization and growth of the airport infrastructure in Mexico. Inaugurated on March 21, 2022, this airport is located in Zumpango, Estado de México, approximately 35 kilometers north of Mexico City.

Infraestructura moderna: The airport has three concrete runways, two of 4,500 meters and one of 3,500 meters, capable of receiving wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 787 and 747.

Terminal de pasajeros: The terminal offers services for national and international flights, with 100 check-in counters, 86 self-service kiosks and 34 boarding doors. In addition, it has VIP rooms and commercial areas for the comfort of travelers.

Connectivity and transport: The AIFA is designed to integrate with diverse means of transport, including a bus terminal and planes for a railway connection that will facilitate access from Mexico City and other metropolitan areas.
International Recognitions:
In December 2024, the AIFA was awarded the Prix Versailles as one of the most beautiful airports in the world, for its architectural design that combines modernity and Mexican cultural elements. Strategic importance:
In addition to its function as a commercial airport, the AIFA houses the Military Air Base No. 1 de Santa Lucía , lo que refuerza su relevancia en la infrastructure de defensa nacional.
